"The Infant Prodigy" by Thomas Mann

An ironic depiction of an eight-year-old pianist before an audience. Read by Jonathan Strong.

Thomas Mann is probably best known for the novella Death in Venice. The translation is by H. T. Lowe-Porter, from the collection Stories of Three Decades. Jonathan Strong is the author of around a dozen novels and short story collections.
